I went up in the attic and found it, I put it on this 2017 iPad Pro A1701. Last week I had a problem with this 2017 iPad Pro A1701, the Smart Keyboard cover for it began to ignore the space bar, and if I pulled up the fabric around the space bar with my fingernails, and let it go, it would either ignore it again or pump an unlimited amount of spaces in until I took it off and thwacked it against the settee.Ī long time ago I used to have the first gen 2015 bigger iPad Pro A1584 and still have the Smart Keyboard cover for it (as I couldn’t sell it when I sold the big iPad Pro). I think even before iPadOS.Īny help would be gladly appreciated! I'd probably upgrade to the newest iPad Pro if it weren't for their removing the 3.5mm jack. But it's been happening for as many versions as I can remember. I've upgraded to the latest software, and I've upgraded ahead to the Beta. If I take out a glass wipe and really get in there to get any fingerprint oil off, it will allow me open the iPad may be 1-3 times before it stops functioning again. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work much anymore. My only other guess is something w/ the fingerprint sensor. I can type on the keyboard no problem however, sometimes I need push on it a bit to properly seat. Also using powered USB hub, so mouse is working fine as well. I'm using a standard Apple CCK and and Behringer 404HD as an audio interface they all seem to be functioning as you'd expect. But usually 3-5 more show up during startup. It takes way too long to swipe 50 away, so I just restart the iPad, and they go away. Sometimes I come back and I find 30-50 messages. If I leave the iPad alone all day, I may come back to 5 messages (I can see them in my notifications, it says that I can clear them) but after I unlock, I have to hit "OK" 5 times. For some reason, it connects and disconnects pretty regularly. My best guess is the Apple keyboard/cover combo that goes w/ the 12.3" iPad Pro. Has anyone encountered this issue?
